January 5, 2022 - I haven’t done a tasting note in quite some time, aside from those for work. This is a really lovely wine. Opens nicely after some time in the glass. Lively and juicy with citrus aromas with a briny, chalky quality and stone fruits and fresh white flowers. Just enough ripeness to make the fruit nice and luscious on the palate with citrus and white peach and a McIntosh apple sweetness. Nice mouthfeel to balance out the acid tension. Should age beautifully for a good 5+ years. Wish I had more. I agree with their recommendation to serve at cellar temp and not “fridge cold”.
