  January 10, 2022 - Medium garnet in color and nice intensity. Red fruit, spice and earth on nose. One the palate there was a sharpness that prevented the red fruit from being as forward as one might have appreciated. We finished the bottle the next evening and it was soft with beautiful red fruit-strawberry perhaps but also some cherry. I feel that this will be better after several years to mature. Early consumption requires a vigorous decanting to allow it to open.
