  January 14, 2022 - This is in a really good place for me. Pale, translucent garnet, a hinting of brick at the edge. Great nose, tart red fruit, vanilla, cedar.
  
  Expected it to be pretty tannic but the balance between tannin and fruit is good, midweight, watery in the mouth. Tart acidity says no hurry but I really like it where it is right now. Fruity dry finish.
  
  Food really softens all the edges. Just finished my 06’s so thought this might be a bit young but really good.
