  February 5, 2022 - Haunting wine this. Smoky nose of tobacco, marzipan, cinnamon and dried flowers. Sweet and sour black cherries and Parma violets on the palate. Long, chalky tannins. Refreshing but with a pleasantly boozy feel. Very complete and moreish.
  
  I know it’s generally compared to Nebbiolo but I think this is closer to the other Nebbiolo clone, Xinomavro.
