January 23, 2022 - Brought this to a group dinner for the opening course. Nicely structured. Pale coloring, wild strawberry and watermelon rind notes. I liked this. Good verve and acidity for food pairing. This is Rose bubbles for those who like the pucker and minerality of Bandol and Cinsault based still roses. I happen to be one of that crew! One more bottle in the cellar and will look for this bottling again.

5/7/22, 9:23 PM - Good review, and agree. The Bandol rosé (e.g., Tempier, to me) reference is good for describing this vs some other rosé Champagnes. Yes, works as aperitif wine, or with a salad course, etc. Subtle but not insipid.
