  March 7, 2022 - Amongst a table full of rich or rustic or hearty or fantastically aged and generally all wonderful Italians from all corners of Italy, this one stuck out for its pure elegance, almost Burgundian nature. cherries, smoke, a hint of tar, good acidity were noted but it was that silky texture that was entirely beguiling. It's was hard to not like this wine. If you had to judge, this bottle was completely empty before the end of the evening.
