  March 30, 2022 - Decanted for 40 minutes during which the wine opened and darkened from a medium garnet to a dark garnet. The wine is a blend of 90% Grenache + 10% Syrah. On the medium bodied palate there was a preponderance of darker earthy notes, along with some red fruit (cherry) and spice. The acidity was more than needed to balance. The presence of high earth notes and high acidity are a sure sign of age, so drink up soon.
