  March 1, 2022 - Pitch black core, purple rim. On the nose this is rather shy, offering occasional glimpses of dark berries with notes of garden herbs. Palate is quite strict tonight, striking acidity and puckering tannins, with a faint line of red berries behind it all. This needs time (and food!) as it feels coiled up tightly right now
