  March 12, 2009 - Subtle nose of dark fruit, bit hot on the nose. Rather hot, quite tannic on initial taste, with some fruit. Honestly, I have no idea what anyone found interesting in this wine. Found it to be a very simple, typical of a 6-8$ grocery store 'house' wine. There are dozens of wines for half the price that offer far more honest flavor and fullness than this cuvee. I have no doubt that this wine would not fare well against 2$C in blind tasting.
