  February 27, 2022 - As expected, this is a fine wine from a fine producer, one of Niagara's best and most consistent, a fresh, cool-climate Chardonnay with zesty lemon leading the somewhat sharp acidic way, notes of green apple, pear, and lemon-lime, touches of light honey and vanilla, some decent minerality (even a sense of saltiness), soft tannins, and a very dry finish. It seems quite basic overall, but it's quite good for what it is, which is as good of a basic, cool-climate Chardonnay as it gets.
