  April 20, 2022 - The first bottle of this wine we had was in Feb 2017. The nose was an unpleasant funky barnyard which took 2-3 hours of airtime to dissipate turning into a very enjoyable wine. This bottle, 5+ years later. was very reserved upon opening with no foul odors, after an hour it blossomed into a earthy, dark berry scent and intense savory mixed berry fruit, nice balance, resolved tannins finishing smoothly. Wine has certainly improved with age and really showed no signs of being over the hill. Served with grilled lamb chops.
