  April 23, 2022 - Over 25 years ago I purchased a complete flight of 1977 ports, which have been buried in the back of my cellar since then. I finally began my tasting with this bottle, because its cork was in the worst shape - wax cap broken and cork completely saturated. Much to my pleasure and surprise, this bottle was wonderful - accurately described by Electric Palate (9/2021 review) except more full-bodied than I normally expect from a port of this age. It is certainly ready for drinking, but I would be in no hurry to drink these if you still have them.
