    April 29, 2022 - Who said 2012 sucked? I’m trying to think of a classified 2012 that I did'nt like. Can’t think of one.

The leaner vintage, coupled with brilliant winemaking makes this a solid contender and a challenger to many 2016’s in my memory bank. Rather medium bodied, showing signs of early aging, coupled with a piercing penetration. Excellent now, with lots of room for change and an interesting evolution. Drink or Hold

At the risk of radical over generalization and with too small a sample size to be so bold, my experience has been a decided preference for right bank 2012 over left bank. My 2 cents, discounted for inflation …

Right bank 2012 is definitely a quantum leap above the left. Now, if you want a left bank 2012 tip: here’s 2. The prieure lichine and the saint Pierre. Both still around 60 bucks and drink at double the price. But please try 12 feytit clinet. Much thanks for your comments!
