    5/4/22, 10:15 PM - Buttery, rosemary, sure, those notes ring true, but dark in comparison to what? Most whites? Then I daresay that it was probably a good bottle but not your style? From dark gold to amber, smelling of bruised apples? Then oxidized somehow by poor enclosure or storage, and you should get your money back. Either way, I respectfully disagree with giving this wine a low score on merit. It's a well made wine for what it aspires to be. These southern Rhone white blends aren't everyone's cup of tea to begin with, but they show particularly poorly when served cold, and they are better at cellar temperature and decanted, due to their lower acid profile and higher baseline tannin. I happen to love this style, YMMV, but it's objectively a high quality wine of its type. Cheers.
