May 20, 2022 - Opened this wine for the first time last night.

First vintage for this blend, with CS, CF and some Malbec. I cannot confirm for sure, but I believe this is all fruit sourced from Coombsville.

Decanted for two hours and it needed several more. First sips were full of drying tannins, with dark fruits and a medium/lite mid palate. As the evening wore on, this wine developed some more fullness, with the tannin bite fading away. Last sips were the best. Saved about two glasses for tonight so I will report back in if there is a noticeable change.

Give this wine several years of slumber and I think the 93 score today will improve a couple ticks.

For those looking for an entrée into Rewa's wines, this would be a great place to start.

    Celia Welch is winemaker.

5/24/22, 4:05 AM - I was debating to purchase this after seeing your IG post. I have a friend in India named "Kanda" so I thought it might be fate. But at $150/bottle, I think I will look elsewhere -- unless you tell me to try it!

5/24/22, 9:00 AM - Its a solid wine but it needs time.

I bought a three pack from K Laz, and I think it was $125/per when buying three. There is also an option to just purchase one for like $10 more, so perhaps take a flyer on it and see if you like it, then buy more if you do?

Do give it several hours (3-4) of decant time- I liked it so you probably will as well...
