  May 26, 2022 - Unimpressive. Unimpressive upon opening and unimpressive even after an hour's decant. Nose is nondescript, apart from a dominant essence of hot alcohol. Palate light and thin. Any fruit descriptors are mere whispers. A short, acidic finish. This is a poor example of an otherwise superior 2015 vintage.

  5/27/22, 10:31 AM - 24 hours later, and I tried it again. It is softer, of course, but dull and still unimpressive. More like an unbranded plonk than a honored 200 year old Cru Bourgeois. What went wrong here?
