June 6, 2022 - 05 was clearly a warm vintage, and the DP from this year is also very fruity and sweet compared to the 04 and 06. But what a wine! Golden straw color, beautiful bubbles. Classic nose of green apples, lime, lemon, vanilla and that touch of honey that comes so clearly with age. After a while in the glass, the nose is complemented by chalky tones. Intriguing. Full bodied attack, lots of green apples and lime in the mouth, aftertaste complements tones of vanilla and honey. Very fine bubbles (as usual) caressing the mouth. Long. A beauty of a wine. I thought this should have been more tired by now, but this is clearly still a youngster. Drink over the next decade or more . Am I too conservative in my score here. the drinking pleasure is immense, but compared to a a Cristal 2013 drunk some days ago this is clearly not in the same league.

7/20/22, 4:31 PM - It sounds like an excellent wine and DP, just made in a different general style! Your notes were excellent, I think I will make it my goal to try one of these
