June 22, 2022 - Lovely ethereal red fruited pinot. In the past I have found many HH pinots to be made in the bigger brawnier Central Otago style. This is not. Very lifted and complex red fruit and spice nose. Similar just midweight palate driving again the red pinot fruit in a style more reminiscent of Chatto and Giant Steps Pinots. I like the balance between intensity of fruit, lovely soft ripe tannins and a long finish. Excellent
