June 30, 2022 - Tiffany says 93-94, I say 95. She prefers old world, but this is clearly not…

After an hour decant…Bright strawberry on the nose, but brooding raspberry beneath.

It’s settled down since sip #1 (which was all tight and dark).

The wine is well balanced with earthy, creme de cassis nose. Blackberries and blueberries dancing together over the stage of gentle tannins. Hints of cigar leaf, but doesn’t overtake the wine.

7/1/22, 8:25 AM - Good TN. I think I only have the 18 of the Insignia now. I used to have a large vertical of it but have been shifting away from blue chip Napa as of late. Still, Insignia's are good wine and can be great in some vintages.

7/2/22, 2:15 PM - I've gone to 8+ hours of air when enjoying Insignia. I have not regretted it yet and usually my friends are saying the last glass was the best. Thanks for the note.
