July 6, 2022 - Medium garnet red color. Moderate nose of strawberry, raspberry and cream soda. The first thought when tasting this wine was smooth. Smooth texture, well balanced, noticeable, refined tannins and subtle red fruit flavors. This is a young wine and given my history of predicting the future of Lytton Springs wines, I hesitate to rate the wine higher. It could age into something special. We will have to wait and see.
