  July 11, 2022 - Very nice restrained Napa Cab. Decanted for 2 hours and drank over next 3. Nice floral nose with some sweet notes at first. As a testiment to its character and softness Mark1NPT guessed it was a South American blend and Carol thought it was a California Merlot. To me it a fairly typical aged Napa cabernet. Kind of on the light side, with decent acidity and notes of red fruit and tobacco. Improved with air as it got softer and more BDX like. Good QPR if your looking for a mid weight Napa CS just entering its secondary phase. 92 HMC
