July 17, 2022 - A very well made, "typical" Sancerre. Nose has gooseberry, lemon, along with substantial mineral and earth tones - earthier than many. Also herbal notes of chives and tarragon. Palate has strong acid, substantial mineral structure. Nice fruit and mineral, and even a bit of astringency toward finish. Finish moderate in length. Wonderful complexity.
