  July 15, 2008 - Champagne and Sushi BYOB Dinner (2045 N Damen Ave, Chicago, IL‎ - (773) 235-5775‎): Nose: Minerally type of aspect accompanied by more florals than I am used to on a Dom Perignon backed up by some vanilla notes
  
  Palate: Very nice and elegant - well balanced. Some coffee notes starting to emerge - stuff that I love and have experience with Henriot champagnes. Acidity is there with a very subtle tweak of sweetness that prevents this from being too dry.
  
  Overall: It's in between - age showing, but yet still youthful and zesty - for me this aspect worked wonderful this evening. Very elegant and nice! 92-93 points
