  July 30, 2022 - An absolute delight. The cork broke on extraction but the seal was very good with barely one mil of creep around the base of the cork. Decanted through a fine cloth to pickup any cork crumbs, minimal silt. Half a bottle put aside for tomorrow night. Dark red red through to the edges, no sign of browning perhaps a little bit of crumbling at he edge. Bouquet of plum and dark berries with a hint of aged wood/wood polish and then a hint of milk chocolate and mint. Pretty much the same on the palate but the balance was lovely. A luscious wine worth every bit of the dollars and capable of a few more years in the cellar.
