August 3, 2022 - classic Prevost orchard fruit profile up front, decent bit of acid, but unfortunately mousy the finish. Unexpected from a Prevost wine, hopefully a one off.

3/17/23, 8:53 AM - yeah, that seems to be the consensus for those who are susceptible to mousiness :(

4/17/23, 10:00 AM - Do either of you think this is isolated to LC19, as in something in the production has created unusually high bottle variation with that base vintage in Prevost's wines, or is this another "grower Champagne" dynamic where bio and other more natural endeavors leave the wine susceptible to more flaws? Curious both your thoughts since I have had a few wines from this producer and have generally been fond of them, but I also know the margin for error can get much larger. Thanks!

4/17/23, 11:35 AM - I’ve only experienced it with the 19 (haven’t tried 20 yet), but seemed to be prevalent in both negociant bottlings…will welcome notes on LC20 to see if the problem was solved

4/17/23, 11:48 AM - Great thanks. I was eyeing some 2018s but got a little hesitant based on the chatter on the 2019s.
