August 12, 2022 - This is so lovely. Wow, just a beautiful wine from PnP and over a couple of hours. I wish I had more discipline to let this unwind for 4+ hours or into another day, but the aromatics alone won't let you put the glass down. It's the nose that pushes this from Excellent to Outstanding for me. The perfume is gorgeous here, cherry, violets, roses, dried herbs and with air it picks up balsamic and mushroom notes. This has sneaky depth. It's so fresh and the color a vibrant, semi-translucent cherry, raspberry color, it has a persistent cool finish. The purity of expression here is notable. Very classy.
Bought at an Enoteca ~6 years ago (pretty sure we tasted there or out to dinner prior to buying), hauling home, and letting slumber. I'm so glad we did.3 people found this helpful 1,024 views

8/14/22, 8:19 AM - I agree, looking at your TN from early 2021, my thoughts look similar, though I found the finish lengthened with air. (My storage conditions are good, but not ideal - all of my storage is fully dark, but most areas have seasonal temperatures fluctuation from low-mid-50s to a more typical low-mid-60s. So my aging is accelerated against bottles kept in ideal 55 conditions.)
