Introduction

It was Rhone, South of France tasting night, a large range. 2nd tasting with Mark of @Winecouver Was one rhone white, and rest were reds.

A: med int.
Funk, pure fruit gummy candies [pure deliciousness]
T: dry, med+ acid, low- tannin, med body, med+ finish
Fresh fruit juice/earth

conc: good stuff I like, people commeted it reminded them of a Lirac/Tavel Rose

Decanted approx 1hr or so before tasting, started to slowly open up at 3hr mark

C: Med Gold, Cloudy
A: Med- intensity
Raw Potato, Oak, Very tight
T: Dry, med Acid, med+ body, med/- intensity, med+ finish.
Warm Apples, Lite Spice, Lots of tight minerals

Conc: Very tight wine with a big dose of mineral [think Zind Humbrecht]. Tho was missing a little something, some mentioned fruit but something to make it amazing

A: Med+ Intensity
Meat, Spice, Richness, Ripe red lipstick, vegetal/stem. Freshness
T: dry, med+ acid, med tannin, med+ body, med+ finish
Red cherry/cranberry, chocolate, chalky minerality.

Conc: This is why you decant young wines from such good producers. Just kept opening and opening into being so beautiful
