very much layered and super deep. tons of different berries, raspberries, bluebrries and over ripe blackberries. underlying all that is a layer of sweetness, white chocolate and licorice. very nice

quite classic mature napa valley, elegant with nice notes of leather, plum but somehow it was a bit dominated by the horse sweat notes which unfortunately did not go away with air. nevertheless a very good wine

this was on par with the 2004 schrader ccs but obviously very different in style. curry leaves, sunday roast, nice blackberries. loads of minerals, that feel much more present when comparing these wines with napa, it didnt strike me when i tasted it last. excellent!
