Expressive floral nose with candied apricot, quince and marzipan. Almost full-bodied, dense, with rich fruit and medium acidity. Aftertaste is long and there is a zesty-citrussy element to it.

Dark cherry, plum, liquorice and spicy scents on the nose. Full-bodied, velvety-textured and sweet with medium acidity and a fairly long aftertaste. Very attractive and easy to like red. Pair with heavily sauced meat dishes.

More complex and refined compaired to the Serramarocco, with red and darker cherry fruit, clove, nutmeg, violets, earthy minerality and barnyard funk in a non-intrusive way. Full-bodied with firm tannins and med+ acidity. Long aftertaste. Excellent food wine.
