Boerne Wine Club Tuscany Wine Tasting

San Antonio, TX

Tasted April 13, 2014 by macker100 with 778 views

Introduction

The group gathered on a Sunday evening for a taste of Sangiovese wines, nearly all from Tuscany. Overall, the wines were a nice example of what great wine the area produces. The group favorite was the '01 Poggione by a considerable margin. The two Tignanello's were divisive within the group. Other favorites were the Cerbaiona, Casanova di Neri, and the '97 Ruffino.
