Boerne wine club Oregon Pinots
Tasted September 28, 2014 by cos65 with 58 views
Introduction
We met for an annual review of Oregon pinot. We thought we might concentrate on whole cluster fermentation vs not, but unfortunately couldn't always find out numbers. Tasted in age order.
Closing
Fairly good to excellent wines all around (though the "01 Beaux Freres seemed rather funky). We were reminded again on how some of the lightest colored wines were the fullest flavored (and often some of the wines fermented whole cluster).
Overall the Botanica, Cristom Brick House and the Scott Paul were group favorites.
The blind Graves to finish was a real treat.
