Introduction

Hugo, Arnoldo & Chanoch - the mythological first wine-quartet gathered at my home to celebrate Hugo's NYC marathon earlier this month.

along with selected French & Italian (4) cheese & (2) salami, jamon bayotta, whole wheat & king nuts breads, pâte de foie gras, pasta (with calamata olives & dried tomatoes, parmesan, garlic-pepper, salt & olive oil), Bulgarian kebab (Borcho) these 3 wines were consumed with great pleasure.

typical good earthy aromas, less impression than after uncorking, firm integrated tannins, nice balance, enjoyable for its mid-level NSG

24 hours after uncorking, last glass in the bottle
transparent dark red-brown, ripe dark intense cherries aromas, light earthy notes, round firm integrated tannins, good acidity level, rich fruity flavours, chocolate, mint, liquorice, eucalyptus & herbal hints, a bit of over oxidation starts, lingering pleasant finish.
