Really impressive initial attack on your nose. Aristocratic! With time it blows up but to henhouse and sobriety. Just needs more time cellaring. Aromas are hidden and need hours to develop complexity, i.e. black fruits.
Palate showed more watery than 2001 but with real finesse. Its day has to come.
There're people do NOT understand this particular vintage.

Impresionante ataque inicial, aristocrático! Con tiempo se transforma en gallinero y sobriedad. Necesita tiempo! Los aromas siguen solapados y necesitan aire para manifestarse, por ejemplo a frutos negros.
En boca más acuosa que el 2001 pero elegante el día que esto aflore, que se quiten las corridas y ...los toros.
Hay gente que NO entiende esta añada.

This is the commemorative of the winery centenary bottle.
Very dark colour. Looks like an under ten yo wine.
Totally closed on the nose. After a while notes of game, a little rustic touch.
Taking more time aromas of roses and mercurochrome. Definitively this is not a typical palate.
Needs hours breathing or just another 30 years sleeping in the cave. Things are like this, my Honour.
It lacks a bit of grip, some of that list fragrance and perhaps any of that final lush. I missed here some of the truly Monte Teal richness. A pity.

Se trata del vino conmemorativo del centenario de la bodega.
De color muy oscuro. Parece un vino con menos de diez años.
Cerrada totalmente. Con tiempo notas animales de caza, un poco rústico. Con más tiempo notas a rosas y mercromina. No es muy típico en boca.
Dale unas horas respirando o 30 años más de cueva. Las cosas son así señoría. Le ha faltado un poquito de agarre, algo de esa fragancia perdida y un poquito de exuberancia final. He echado de menos lo rico del Monte Real de verdad. Una lástima.

Maybe some of aid-kit smell.
Otherwise on the palate showed delicious, balanced, velvety, delicate even.

Complicada de saber si ha sido abierta demasiado pronto?
Notas a sofá, a barniz. Con aire y más aire algo de galleta y poco más. Quizás algo de botiquín.
La boca, en cambio, es deliciosa equilibrada, aterciopelada e incluso delicada.
No está vez, lo siento.

Fatally reduced on the nose with notes of chicken cubes. Didn't open during all nite.
Totally dry. I was disappointed by this bottle. Respect for the elders anyway.

Nariz totalmente reducida con notas a Avecrem. Y no abrió en toda la cata.
La boca es secante a tope. Me ha decepcionado. Un respecto para lo ancianos de todas formas.
