Flight 1 (5 notes)

Rosé - Sparkling
N.V. Krug Champagne Brut Rosé France, Champagne
90 points
Tasted right after the Veuve Clicquot 2004 Rose so this was unfair. The Krug was lighter, less fruity and less complex. A really nice champagne but not up to the level of the Veuve Clicquot.

Light pink color and light flavors. Refreshing, might be nice for a summer afternoon.

WOTN for us. A very distinctive champagne. Small, definitive bubbles. Intense flavors of red fruits, citrus, grapefruit. Elegant and silky. Melts in your mouth, like a chocolate truffle.
