Little lean on the palate yet savoury with a good back acidity and length. Loved it.
Surprisingly a good pair for a fish ceviche.

De un brillante color oro. Fantástica en nariz, llena de embriagadores aromas a frutas blancas, flores o minerales. Compleja hasta la médula.
Un poco plana en la boca aunque sabrosa con una buena acidez y longitud.
Sorprendentemente acompaño muy bien un ceviche de pescado.

Complexity to the maximum. Mature lemony aromas following a good intensity on the palate. Still a brave yet tamed backbone. Nice effort. To be repeated.

Then it showed well-balanced between red fruit and wood, perhaps excessively soft but still kicking and giving long seconds of pleasure on the palate.
Quite good matching wild boar parpadelle.

That's right, fruit has gone but who cares when you've a gem like this in your glass. Deliciously decadent, harmoniously balanced and presenting a good length.

Al principio demasiado oxidada (un clavo roído desde los años cincuenta- pero floreciendo con un poco de tiempo.
De acuerdo, la fruta se ha ido pero a quién le importa cuando tienes a una maravilla como está en la copa. Deliciosamente decadente, armoniosamente equilibrada y presentando una buena longitud.
Un fácilmente reconocible Rioja, bien conocido y posiblemente el tinto de la noche.

A few notes of carobs and anything else. Can't recognise a truly Priorat here. A defective storage indeed.

Unas pocas notas a algarroba y poco más. No se podía reconocer a un verdadero Priorato.

What a white wine! In a blind taste you'd think this is an old Burundian Chardonnay: buttery, honeyed, suave, silky, mineral, floral on the nose but at the same time multilayered on the palate. Quite delicious. Still firm enough to face another decade or two.
In my view a well-aged Rioja, whites included, provides one of the greatest pleasures that life has to offer.
I'm really proud of Murrieta. Believe me if you don't know this probably you're missing something good. My WOTN among whites.

¡Menudo vino blanco! En una cata a ciegas pensarías que es un viejo borgoñón: amantequillado, melosa, suave, asedado, mineral, floral en nariz pero a su vez multifacética en boca. Bien deliciosa. Todavía lo suficientemente lozana como para encarar otra década o incluso dos.
En mi opinión un blanco de Rioja bien envejecido proporciona uno de los mayores placeres que la vida te puede ofrecer.
Realmente orgulloso de Murrieta. Créeme que si no conoces esto te estás perdiendo algo muy bueno. Mi blanco de la noche.

Its time was as appetitive, in any case as a champagne of reflexion and thinking. Flamenquito was right this time.

Su hora estaba en el aperitivo. En ningún caso como un champán reflexivo, para pensar. El del flamenquito tenía razón está vez.
