Flight 1 (1 note)

White
2010 Jean-Marc Brocard Chablis 1er Cru Vaulorent France, Burgundy, Chablis, Chablis 1er Cru
90 points
Pale gold.
Apples and lemons with some minerality, gently attractive nose.
Fruity, mineral, stony lemon and apricot, refreshing and moreish, very long.

Flight 2 (1 note)

White
2011 Fougeray de Beauclair Marsannay Les Aiges Pruniers Blanc France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Marsannay
87 points
Pale green gold.
Somewhat dumb nose, hints of oak and honey.
Fruity, mineral, grapefruit rather than lemon, nutty and honeyed bitter mid palate, medium length.

Flight 3 (1 note)

White
2011 Maison Alex Gambal Fixin Blanc France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Fixin
88 points
Pale green gold.
Slightly herby, grassy, sweet scented nose.
Full and fruity, apple and citrus, mineral, quite refreshing, good length.

Flight 4 (1 note)

White
2011 Domaine / Maison Vincent Girardin Meursault Le Limozin France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault
87 points
Green gold.
Toasted nose with citrus notes, not my favourite smells though it did improve after a while.
Very youthful taste, mineral and fruity, not quite integrated, pretty long, needs a couple years more at least.

Flight 5 (1 note)

White
2010 Coche-Bizouard Meursault en l'Ormeau France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Meursault
92 points
Very light greenish gold.
Such an attractive nose, buttery and citrus.
Youthful taste but drinking very well now, fruity and well balanced, mineral in the mid palate, very long, should be drinking very well for the next 10-15 years.

Flight 6 (1 note)

White
2009 Domaine Lucien Jacob Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Vergelesses Blanc France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru
90 points
Light intense gold.
Gentle nose, creamy citrus notes.
Luscious fruity attack, citrus, well balanced, gentle, poised, a lovely wine.

Flight 7 (1 note)

White
2009 Château de Beauregard (Joseph Burrier) Pouilly-Fuissé Classique France, Burgundy, Mâconnais, Pouilly-Fuissé
90 points
Light intense gold.
Attractive nose, buttery, ripe fruit, some quite sweet notes.
Not quite integrated but all the elements are there, ripe fruit, plenty of acidity and minerality, great length, a wine to return to in 5-10 years.

Flight 8 (1 note)

White
2009 Domaine Jean-Marc Pillot Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chenevottes France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
91 points
Very light greenish gold.
Lovely nose, some oaky notes with citrus and mineral.
Very youthful, balanced citrus and oaky notes, very full, will probably be at its best in 7-20 years.
