Wonderfully rich and vinous wine, weighty but lively, slightly nutty but with freshness to the fore, fruit of red apples and lime zest, hint of honey, complex and with added warmth from the wood, intense flavours, very good length.

Bone dry and very mineral, dusty almost, with an innate 'goût de petrol' that is reminiscent of Australia, tea leaf, good depth, citrus and flowers, hints of peach and passion fruit, ripe acidity, very good length. Does not have the linearity and precision of a great Grosset, but it is in a similar vein.

Medium deep, sombre colour, mature but lively; impressive nose, roses and bitters from the stems, amaro spices and garrigue, almonds and cherries, deep minerality; the bright and lively acidity has integrated well, pure and clean, good phenolics from the skins, granite minerality, medium body, hint of apple in the flavours; good length.
