Light, bricking colour. Nose of a al Rioja - barnyard, herbs, tobacco, a bit of leather, with time develops sweet raspberry notes. Gets sweter and sweeter. Palate was nice enough, but a little thin, with herbs and light, sweet dried fruits. Interesting experience to try a mature 100% Garnacha from Rioja.

Mature, but properly present and intense nose of caramel, garrigue, bell pepper and dense fruits. Really elegant and thought inducing at only 12.5% alc. and superb overall balance. It is meaty with medium full taste, but never overripe. Lovely wine.

A dividing wine. Heat of 2003 with its overripe/stewed fruit is noticeable. Floral notes on the nose and palate. Lots of tannins, intense and dense, murky fruits - strawberries, raspberries, aronia, vanilla from oak. It was a favourite for some and the worst for others.

From magnum. Enticing bouquet of dried cherries, butter and note of herbs. Complex nose and palate, round tannins, soft texture, utterly drinkable. Classy wine.

Powerfull, intense nose of smoky florals, peppermint and some dusty red fruits. Excellent structure, you cannot feel that it is 15.5% so good is the balance.

Typical Grenache nose of sweet berries, oak. Young and expressive but classy wine. Excellent already now, but no rush here.
