Introduction

2013 was an average growing season in Niagara, with proper attentive detail to vineyard management being crucial to the quality of wines produced. Overall, the offerings showcased seemed to be approachable early, with the consensus being that this vintage allowed for an earlier drinking window with multi-faceted and layered wines. Totally different from the powerhouse 2012 vintage, which saw niagara have it's best growing season on record, 2013 is about poise, balance, and elegance, and for the most part, translated into intriguing and satisfying wines.
