Very dense nose unquestionably clear expression and typical Thalassitis. The palate is more impressive, high intensity, high acidity, long finish with some coffee and nutty nuances, citrus and lemon, still fresh (like a 2015). Outstanding quality, great experience but quite expensive

Very dense nose, ripe red fruit, a touch of reduction but in the back, nice thin oak frame, cherry and berry, beautiful sweet spice. In the palate, the wine shows med body and intensity, very nice tannins, refreshing acidity, dense red fruit. The oak treatment is brilliant supporting but not dominating, great structure and beautiful long finish. Outstanding quality with a great life ahead 92 for now

12 months in oak, served from magnum. Pure Merlot here offering rich nose, high intensity, smoked green bell pepper, tobacco, bacon, red cherry and sweet spices in the back. The palate follows the same pattern, nice tannins and body, tobacco again, green bell pepper with med finish. Very good quality, drink or hold. I thought it was Cabernet Franc 89+
