Tasted double blind. Came across as very N Rhone, but I thought it Hermitage. Meaty and ripe with faint spice. Good structure, good balance.

Served double blind to the tasting group. Just open 20-30 minutes before serving. Mostly black fruit with good density, excellent textures and length. Most thought it Grand Cru. Slightly better than another bottle from 6 months ago.

Tasted double blind. Black cherry, slightly tart. Very good concentration and length, perhaps with a few rough edges right now. But very enjoyable, with lots more potential a decade forward and probably even more 2 decades forward.
