2014 Louis Jadot Puligny-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet
Aromas of mineral, lemon zest, butterscotch and spice. Fine texture and weight on the palate, showing minerality, citrus zest, white florals. Medium acid, decent depth and good overall character. Very nice, but drinks below its price point.

Flinty aromas, lime, slate, white florals. Lean and steely palate with mineral-driven citrus zest fruit, white pepper, spice and white pepper. Medium-plus acid, fine depth and texture throughout. Enjoyed.

Aromas of fig jam, violets, mineral and spices. Fig and black cherry fruit on the palate with darker mineral, earth and spice notes woven in a dense structure. Medium-plus acid, fine sharp tannins, with serious depth and structure.

Aromas of orange zest & stone fruit, rocky minerality, oyster shell. Nuttiness and stone fruit kicks on the palate, with spices, earth and dried flowers. Richly textured with medium acid. Well-balanced, with good depth. Very nice.

Exotic aromas of gunpowder, petrol, stone fruit, spring flowers. Gains complexity on the palate with profound spice and black tea notes that marry perfectly with the off-dry ripe citrus and stone fruit. Bright acidity, with silky texture, and nice range and depth throughout. Excellent.

Aromas of crushed flowers, mesquite smoke, plum fruit and spices. Primary and secondary flavors on the palate, good overall flavor development with light structure and density. Medium acid, fine tannins. Very nice.

Aromas of tobacco, cedar, cassis, currant and lavender. Elegant on the palate with seamless secondary and primary depth of flavor. Medium acid, fine integrated tannins, good depth. Drinking very well.

Aromas of cedar, tobacco, graphite, black currant. Dark fruits on the palate, with depth of cedar, spices, leather and tobacco. Full bodied, with serious depth and structure, and very nice balancing elegance. Broad, smooth, fleshy tannins. Big finish. Excellent.

Aromas of red fruit- currant & cherry; with garrigue, pressed flowers, and a range of spices. Seamless on the palate- primary fruit and broad & profound secondary depth. Beautiful weight, density and elegance. Medium acid, fine tannins, and great length.
