Next bottle from an until some weeks ago for me unknown estate, this part of the "Schwarzer Herrgott" is Pfalz country, in english this is "The Black Lord", the name is supposed to be from a cross installed by the holy Philipp from Zell in the 8. century!The vinyard is on the border between the Pfalz and Rheinhessen, 9,6 hectars are Pfalz, 60 hectars are Rheinhessen, but the VDP only allows to use the central part for a GG, this one is very restrained still, smoky as smoky can be, herbal, taut with great tension, ending limy saline with a long aftertaste, give this one some more 2- 3+ years in the bottle, recommended, (***-?), 89+ potential

This is a dry version! Very creamy showing right from the start, lush tropical fruit such as Mango, apricot, and stony peaches, very well balanced moderate bodied, ending delicious creamy as creamy can be! ***(+ -*), 91- 93

Just to finish our Beef-Riesling event we opened this one, same style as the two from Dreissigacker, really creamy and delicious, no sign of tiredness, really delicious swallowing, ending velvety long with a tasty stonefruit, enjoy now! ***(+)

No surprise that thisone is showing the same style as the Geyersberg, really delicious stonefruit, and again on the midpalate, creamy as creamy can be, ending long with a strong limy touch, enjoy now and over the next decade, **(*+), 89- 91+?

A very herbal and spicy showing right from the start, quite dense, fullbodied, (14,5% ABV), but all this packed with elegancy and energetic precision, earthy tones though, cassis all the way too, long tasty finish, **(*+), 89-91+

Wow, normally the new world wines are mostly not for me, this one shows a very savoury cassis fruit, intense with great persistence, this one is the most perfect partner to a 600 gramm medium rare dry aged rip eye! **(*+- ?), 90- 92?
