A solid champagne at this price point, although I tend to be more of a fan of blanc de noirs.

Ripe and delicious, and a wonderful contrast to the Oregon pinots tasted immediately prior. Not super complex, just tasty.

Solid napa cab.

2014 K Vintners Syrah Powerline Vineyard USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley
91 points
~ 2 oz tasting pour.
This was opened late in the tasting as I noticed we didn't have any syrah in the tasting, but the quick double decant didn't do it justice.

This was well liked by the group, finishing as the #2 wine out of 10. However, my palate just couldn't quite wrap my head around it. I'll let my other bottles sleep or give a long decant next time. The other issue is that the wine may not have been allowed to warm enough, as it came from a 54F cellar.
