N.V. Jacques Lassaigne Champagne Les Vignes de Montgueux Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut
91 points
No information about disgorgement date etc. Very fine mousse, lovely natural ripeness, pure and mineral, floral and delicately yeasty, crisp acidity but with a lovely silky texture, hint of grappa on the nose, good weight and length.

White
2007 Maison Valette Pouilly-Fuissé Clos Reyssié
90 points
Very mature full yellow colour with a golden sheen; mature nose, honeyed rather than oxidative, spicy and vinous, hint of varnish; mature but fresh palate, ripe and juicy with a lovely touch of savoury oak; complete and fresh finish, good length.
Red
1994 Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier Bonnes Mares

Mature colour, almost completely bricked through; there is still some nice crushed red berry fruit on the nose, together with some spicy wood and a touch of undergrowth, retains its freshness; the light to medium-weight palate has a silky texture but the tannins are very firm, slightly metallic acidity; dry and tannic finish, light, cold tea, good length.
White - Fortified
2008 Domaine des Chênes Rivesaltes Ambré
90 points
Very old Grenache blanc and gris (50%) and Maccabeo (50%), seven years in barrel. Lovely pale orange amber colour; nutty and toasty but fresh nose, candied fruit, dried figs; juicy and medium sweet palate, good fruit, elegant and fresh and with savoury wood; good resonance and length.
