White - Sparkling
2012 Marc Hébrart Champagne Grand Cru Noces de Craie Extra Brut France, Champagne, Champagne Grand Cru
Rich, nutty, and dry. Strong red fruit. Really good.
White
2015 Caroline Morey Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Chaumées France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru
Magnum. Yellow. Deep pear fruit with some wood framing. Rich but not overly so for the vintage. Very good.

White
2015 Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey Corton-Charlemagne France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Magnum. Overwhelmingly oaky at this point. Quite rich. Not convinced the structure is there.
Red
2012 Domaine de Montille Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Aux Thorey France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru
Magnum. Light ruby. Rather thin, green, and meager. Not very good.
Red
2012 Hubert Lignier Nuits St. Georges Les Poisets France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges
Magnum. Medium weight, somewhat meaty. Good black fruit and earth. Good. Needs time.
Red
2012 Comte Armand Pommard 1er Cru Clos des Epeneaux France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Pommard 1er Cru
Magnum. Deep ruby. Black fruit and licorice. Medium bodied. Chewy black fruit and earth. Very early days, significant structure to resolve. This should turn out to be outstanding, but it will take another 10 years from this format.

Red
2005 Domaine de la Chanteleuserie Bourgueil Cuvée Vieilles Vignes France, Loire Valley, Touraine, Bourgueil
Magnum. Light ruby. Light to medium weight. Very green and quite tannic. Not very charming. Not sure if more time will help this.
Red
2009 Giuseppe Quintarelli Cà del Merlo Veneto IGT Italy, Veneto, Veneto IGT
Magnum. Light ruby. Herbal nose with a ripe fruit top note. Complex, medium weight wine with good mix of herb, currant fruit, and soil. Close to being fully resolved.
