Cear, medium golden color with an amber hue. Clean, medium+ - pronounced, developing and complex nose: Ripe apple, spices, pepper and salt, smoky, cassis, cinnamon. Intense, deep and dense. Fantastic!
On the palate dry, medium, mild acidity. 13% abv, that makes this wine a little bit hot. Medium body. Very salty and mineral, herbs, few ripe fruits, some apple, some bitterness. Lots of grip, very long, dense and deep. Beautiful wine, that will stay on this level for at least 5+ years. Great experience! 93-94

Popped and poured. Clear, pale lemon color. Clean, youthful nose, not yet developed complexity. Intense acidity, that has not yet fully blended in. Needs at least 5, better 10 years to develop depth and complexity. At the moment way too young, a bit broad on the palate and not very long and complex. But everything it needs is there. 87-88+

Decanted, but just for a few minutes. Glowing golden color. Beautiful Ruwer and Grünhaus nose, some botrytis, very balanced and harmonious. On the palate a surprisingly balanced wine, the 2010 acidity is wonderfully integrated. Lots of extract, wonderful tension, mouthcoating flavours and a long, lingering finish. This wine is surprisingly approachable already, but has a long life and upscale potential. Really beautiful! 94-95+

Popped and poured into decanter, drunk within an hour. Clear, bright yellow color. Clean nose, that develops complexity with every minute in the glass and decanter. Ripe yellow fruit, lime, spices and a wonderful chalky mineral note.
On the palate it started very good, but got better and better with air and time. Wonderful pressure and tension, very dense. Ripe stone fruit, some pineapple, lovely mineral core. Long finish. This particular bottle had lots of life and potential left! 94

Only one barrel (~ 2000 bottles) produced. Decanted for a few minutes. Lovely Sangiovese nose with lots of fruit. On the palate very elegant, silky and balanced. Beautiful wine with a good potential! 92-93+

From a perfect bottle. Popped and poured. Perfumed nose with lots of ripe fruit, floral and a dense mineral core. On the palate a bit sweet and broad, medium+ acidity, lacks a bit precision and depth. But nevertheless, a beautiful wine that has reached (and maybe already passed) its full peak. 90-91
