Flight 1 (1 note)

White
2015 Olivier Leflaive Puligny-Montrachet France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet
91 points
Good acid and oak. This is much better integrated than 1+ years ago, with some nice minerality. I hope it improves further, as some more interesting flavors would be appreciated.

Flight 2 (6 notes)

Red
2018 Smoky Rose Cellars Stinger 71 USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley
Drank blind, this had nice fruit initially, and then the goopy grapey purple fruit started to becoming gross. There was also some alcohol. Unscored as this seems quite young to be drinking.
Red
2014 Adamant Cellars Nalin USA, Washington, Columbia Valley, Walla Walla Valley
91 points
Drank single blind. In addition to some nice fruit there is a bit of minerality and good earth flavors. My #2 wine.
Red
2010 d'Arenberg Shiraz Shipsters Rapture Scarce Earth Single Vineyard Australia, South Australia, Fleurieu, McLaren Vale
91 points
Drank single blind, there was some clear Australian eucalyptus on this. I felt the wine was somewhat green and also fading. Regardless it was still my #1 wine of the night.
Red
2014 JCB Passion USA, California, Napa Valley
90 points
Drank single blind. This wine has purplish fruit, cassis, dark chocolate, and figs. It was not that expressive, pleasant to drink with some beef, did not make my top 3.
Red
2008 Two Hands Grenache Aerope Australia, South Australia, Barossa, Barossa Valley
88 points
Drank single blind. This wine is all about the bingy high-toned red fruit. Not much else going on.
Red
2005 Bodega Numanthia Toro Numanthia Spain, Castilla y León, Toro
90 points
Drank single blind, this was my wine. Dense, tasty and fruity, with a touch of tobacco, tar and gravel. My #3 wine and I was surprised when it was revealed.
