Introduction

After a long time without getting together due to COVID, several nebbiolo lovers met in Baltimore to share some wines and catch up. This was for me the first time seeing any of the group since pre pandemic, so this was a much appreciated return. HK graciously opened his home for us and cooked some outstanding food to compliment the wines. Weather cooperated and we sat out in the verandah, ate, drank and caught up.

Closing

This was a great night of outstanding wines and food and better company. Each time I drink older Produttori, it continues to impress that for me at least, I can think of no other red wine producer on the planet who concisely makes outstanding age worthy wines more so than the PdB. This night also confirms my love for Montefico, which for me is my favorite of their Cru bottlings save Rabaja. A shout out to TM and HK for opening their cellars and home for this night.
