Cloudy yellow; fresh apple on the nose, slightly yeasty; refreshing and minerally palate, vibrant acidity, juicy fruit; floral finish, dry and appetising.

Light red colour, yeasty but not quite funky on the nose; delightful sweet fruit on the palate (cherry, berry, peach), bright and fresh silky and supple; lovely resonance and length.

Magnum. Light colour. Tight and fresh, cranberries and red cherries, flowers, crisp and minerally, just a hint of undergrowth, attractive warmth on the finish.

Completely different style from the Breton Régnié which accompanied it, much deeper colour and much deeper pitch, blue and black fruit, silky-sweet texture, even a hint of chocolate, ripe but fresh, gentle tannins, good resonance and length. Serious stuff.
